Billing & Finance Specialist

GoNetspeed is looking for a Billing & Finance Specialist to join our team.

Location

Rochester, NY

Job Description

  • Learn to navigate our customer billing system and run reports
  • Process residential & business billing on a monthly basis
  • Monitor and track adjustments & discounts
  • Follow up with customers with no payment information on file
  • Contact delinquent accounts on a weekly basis
  • Send out equipment return package to disconnected customers
  • Respond to customer billing questions
  • Help customer service department contact potential customers in our service area who expressed interest in our services
  • Assist customers with questions regarding services we offer, creating an account, scheduling installation, current promotions, etc.
  • Fully understand and navigate customer installation scheduling system
  • Update and maintain fixed asset reports
  • Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders and enter into QuickBooks

Required Skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Good technical computer skills
  • Professional communications skills are a must
  • Ability to work well and efficiently in an office environment
  • Experience in customer service field
  • Minimum of 3 years in professional office environment

Education

  • B.S. or A.A.S degree in Accounting is preferred
